Devotee: Some devotees think ‘I may have many children and Krishna will maintain them’.

Srila Gour Govinda Swami: You produce children and Krishna will maintain them? Krishna factually is maintaining the whole universe. He’s Visvambara, that’s a fact. But as a father and mother, that is your responsibility to maintain these children, to give them some nice training, to take care of their health, food, clothing, everything, and give them a proper education in the line of Krishna consciousness. Then, they will come out as nice servants of Krishna. You have to do it. If you can’t, then why will you produce children? Because then you have produced them only for your own sexual enjoyment!
