My Guru Mahārāja is so kind, so merciful, that he awarded this sannyāsa to me. But now I should qualify myself for real sannyāsa; qualify myself and prove myself that I am a fit person to occupy this position. Otherwise, I cannot remain in this position, I must fall down.’ He should understand this thing if he is not a fool. If he is a fool, he cannot understand this thing. He will become puffed up: ‘Now I am sannyāsī! Whatever I want, I can do! I am sannyāsī!’ Then, he is a fool! Prabhupāda doesn’t want to make him a fool. Rather, Prabhupāda gave him the opportunity or some chance to become a real sannyāsī, to qualify himself.
