He [Bhaktisiddhanta] took up sannyāsa himself; he has not taken from a sannyāsa-guru. He accepted in the samādhi-mandira of Gaur Kishor Das Babaji in 1918. He prepared his daṇḍa, put it there and took it up. A powerful vaiṣṇava! Nobody should imitate him. He is a powerful vaiṣṇava. We should not do like that. Do you understand? Don’t imitate.
