Thereby he was teaching: one would not, though he may be guru, one should not talk to his lady disciple secretly.

Mr. Kapoor and his wife came, devoted and nice disciples of Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Gosvami Maharaja. A young couple, they came and met with Sarasvati Maharaja. My Guru Mahārāja [Prabhupada] was present there. So Mrs. Kapoor said, “Guru Mahārāja, I have something to tell you.” Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Maharaja said, “Alright, you may tell.” She said, “No, I want to tell you secretly.” He said, “No, that cannot be done. You should speak here. I cannot talk with you secretly.”

Thereby he was teaching: one would not, though he may be guru, one should not talk to his lady disciple secretly. He was preaching, teaching; setting his own example.
